It should come as no surprise that of all the Super Bowl commercials to air on Sunday — there were 59 ads, to be exact — Boston.com readers chose a commercial from an iconic brand that has become synonymous with the city itself.

Boston legends Ben Affleck, Tom Brady, and Matt Damon teamed up with Dunkin’ in an ad that showcased their musical talents in front of Jennifer Lopez, Affleck’s partner and a famed singer-actress.

The commercial aired before halftime of Super Bowl LVIII and featured the trio performing as a boy band called the “DunKings.” Affleck, a Cambridge, Mass. native, was the lead singer of the trio, with Brady playing the keyboard and Damon standing off to the side, embarrassed, holding a Dunkin’ beverage.

“Sometimes it’s really hard to be your friend,” Damon said to Affleck in the ad.

All of them wore matching pink, orange, and white Dunkin’ jumpsuits and tried to impress a very unimpressed Lopez. The DunKings Collection, which includes the track pants and jacket, coffee tumbler, and bucket hat seen in the commercial, are available for purchase online.

Damon, also a Cambridge, Mass. native, chimed in after the performance, referencing his Boston-set film “Good Will Hunting.”

“How do you like those … doughnuts? I’m so sorry,” Damon said.

The commercial was for a new DunKings menu, which features the DunKings Iced Coffee. The drink became available on Monday.

Boston.com readers picked State Farm’s “Like A Good Neighbaaa” commercial as their second favorite, which featured Arnold Schwarzenegger as the star of “Agent State Farm” alongside his “Twins” co-star Danny DeVito. BMW’s “Talking’ Like Walken” commercial, in which people imitate the actor’s distinctive speech pattern, took third place.
